AFCD30
September 98
Abuse is a top platform-based shoot-'em-up that's extendible in the same
way that Doom is. To get it running on your machine all you need to do
is go to the emulation directory in -Seriously_Amiga- and copy the
appropriate version of the library into your libs directory and rename
it to ixemul.library. If you want to play deathmatches across the
internet, you'll also need to do the same with the ixnet.library.
If you don't have AHI installed, you'll need to get that from our
+System+/Tools/Sound directory, and you might want to also install
RTGMaster from the Graphics drawer in +System+/Tools. These are both
widely used by games these days, so it's not like you'll be wasting your
time.
Lastly, the game's GUI needs the GTLayout.library to be in your libs
directory. You can find an up-to-date version of this library in the
libs drawer of this CD if you don't already have it.
We've put the generic executable ready to run in this drawer, but if you
show all files, you'll notice that there are also archive for
executables for 040 and 060. Simply extract the archive to the Abuse
drawer on your hard drive and you're away!
That's it then, you can start blasting!
