  5. Abuse is a top platform-based shoot-'em-up that's extendible in the same
  6. way that Doom is. To get it running on your machine all you need to do
  7. is go to the emulation directory in -Seriously_Amiga- and copy the
  8. appropriate version of the library into your libs directory and rename
  9. it to ixemul.library. If you want to play deathmatches across the
  10. internet, you'll also need to do the same with the ixnet.library.

  12. If you don't have AHI installed, you'll need to get that from our
  13. +System+/Tools/Sound directory, and you might want to also install
  14. RTGMaster from the Graphics drawer in +System+/Tools. These are both
  15. widely used by games these days, so it's not like you'll be wasting your
  16. time.

  18. Lastly, the game's GUI needs the GTLayout.library to be in your libs
  19. directory. You can find an up-to-date version of this library in the
  20. libs drawer of this CD if you don't already have it.

  22. We've put the generic executable ready to run in this drawer, but if you
  23. show all files, you'll notice that there are also archive for
  24. executables for 040 and 060. Simply extract the archive to the Abuse
  25. drawer on your hard drive and you're away!
